Homemade Croutons

Ingredients:
1/2 (unsliced) loaf italian or french bread
5 T. butter, melted
1 T. olive oil
2 T. grated parmesan cheese
1 T. my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and pepper...combine and store in an airtight container)
1 1/2 tsp. dried basil

Directions:
Slice the loaf in 3/4" slices then cube each slice. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and put in a 325 degree oven for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, whisk together the melted butter and remaining ingredients. After 10 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and drizzle the butter mixture over the bread cubes. Use your hands or 2 spoons and carefully toss to coat. Return to the oven for 10 minutes. Remove and toss again. Place back in the oven for an additional 10 minutes. If you want them a little darker, pop under the broiler but watch very closely. Cool and store in an airtight container.
